If you haven't heard, at the end of May 2020, Microsoft released update 2004. This update updates WSL 1.0 to WSL 2.0 which makes Linux a first class citizen. Linux now has a full kernal, full virtual machine, and really let's you run Linux on Windows. This is super cool.
The update has been rolling out for a while now, but for me, it never was pushed to any of my Windows Pro machines. But you can actually install the Windows 2004 update yourself and get this cool features. Because of this, I created a guide to WSL 2.0 with links to detailed information. Check it out here:
